About ABU

The Federation of Private Employment Agencies (Algemene Bond Uitzendondernemingen, ABU) has been the main representative for private employment agencies in the Netherlands since 1961.

Flex Migrants

The Netherlands is increasingly host to foreigners as temporary agency workers. Many of these so-called flex migrants are assisted by the almost 90 ABU members that are active in this area.

Board & secretariat

The Board is responsible for determining the ABU's policy. In order to perform its duties, the ABU has its own accommodation in Lijnden with meeting facilities and a secretariat with as broad a composition as possible.

Activities

The ABU focuses on representing and promoting the collective, general interests of its members. To this end the ABU pursues a policy aimed at creating conditions for expanding the market for providing workers within the total labour market.
