The industry association for private employment agencies

Since 1961 the ABU (Algemene Bond Uitzendondernemingen, or Federation of Private Employment Agencies) has been the main representative for private employment agencies in the Netherlands and a leader in the agency work sector. With 560 members, varying from large and medium-sized companies to small enterprises, the industry association represents approximately 65% of the market. This makes the ABU the largest and most important employers' organisation in the temporary agency work sector in the Netherlands.

On this page you'll find market developments of the staffing industry. Every period (4 weeks) ABU-members deliver their turnover and working hours to TNS-NIPO. This is called the ABU-Markmonitor. The monitor contains more than 60% of the total staffing industry in the Netherlands.

Are you interested in ABU membership? The ABU is the representative of companies in the agency work sector. With 560 members we represent 65% of the market. All kinds of intermediaries - small, medium or large - can become ABU members.
